Six steps to creating your own path to personal awareness

1) Allow yourself to be present

As I personally have been allowing myself to live in the moment, my life has never been better; being able to notice all the small things around me that can fill me up with joy and excitement.

In order to live this moment and be happy, it helps if you already enjoy your personal life, work life, family and friends. Do everything with pure joy. Stop listening to all those people who try to dilute your presence. Start doing all the things you always wanted to do. Start making a wish list of all the things which are close to your heart.

  • Allow yourself a clear mind to reject negativity; it helps to create a future verson of the person you aspire to be. In doing so, this new you can reject negativity and allow its true form to take shape.
  • Create a list of the dreams you wish to complete; find a time that works for you on a periodic table and allow yourself to emerge into the moment.
  • Unclench your jaw, stretch, breathe, relax. Now use your eyes; what do you see? Smell the flowers, enjoy the grassy noles.

2) Accept yourself

Once I accepted the fact that I wasn't like the rest of my family, it was clear to me what needed to be done for me to live a life of happiness. Ever since that day I have prospered.

You are blessed with unique powers. So, build up your self-confidence and don’t try to modify your true values; allow them to shine through you like a beam of light for everyone to see. People often don’t have the courage to allow their true values to shine through, as well stand for them. Surround yourself with people who Believe in you.

  • Think back in life and remember a few times you were uncontrollably happy. You might be a child in this moment. Step into the moment as you are; allow yourself to feel and see as you did. Why are you so happy? What values do you hold in this moment?
  • Draw a circle on a piece of paper and divide it into 8 pieces by putting a '+' and a 'X' through it. Fill in the spaces with your own unique skill sets. After doing so, rate each on a scale of satisfaction from 1 to 10, with 1 being a low amount of current satisfaction and 10 being a high amount of current satisfaction. What do you notice?
  • After seeing your wheel in front of you, what are three ways you can increase your current position on the scale in all the spaces you have filled out?
